This Privacy Policy explains how Brooding Ostrich, LLC ("Service Provider", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the WeSweat mobile application (the "Application"). By downloading or using the Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and access to the Application. We strongly advise against jailbreaking or rooting your device.
Data We Collect and How We Use It
We collect and process the following categories of data to provide and improve our fitness and longevity services:
- Account Information: Email address, username, and profile details.
- Fitness & Health Data: Workout history, goals, and progress, plus optional data imported from connected services and devices such as Apple Health, Garmin, Strava, and Fitbit, only with your explicit consent.
- Recovery Scan Data: Heart rate variability (HRV) and related signals derived from optional camera-based recovery scans (rPPG).
- Subscription & Billing Data: Subscription status, transaction identifiers, renewal dates, and entitlement state related to WeSweat Prime.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app usage statistics.
- Analytics Data: App performance metrics and anonymized user behavior patterns to improve the product.
Apple HealthKit Data
With your explicit permission, the Application reads health and fitness metrics (such as heart rate, HRV, sleep, and activity) from Apple HealthKit to compute Recovery Age and personalized insights.
Data accessed via Apple HealthKit is used solely to provide health and fitness features within the Application. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, data brokering, or share it with third parties for such purposes. HealthKit data is never sold. Where transmitted, it is encrypted in transit and at rest. You may revoke HealthKit access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Camera & Biometric Signals (rPPG)
Optional rPPG (remote photoplethysmography) recovery scans process short video frames from your device camera locally and/or via secure server-side processing to estimate physiological signals (such as heart rate variability). Raw video frames are not retained beyond what is necessary to compute the result. We do not perform facial recognition or identification.
Subscriptions & Payments
WeSweat Prime is an auto-renewable monthly subscription processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Subscription-related data (subscription status, transaction identifiers, renewal dates, and entitlement state) is provided by Apple, Google, or our subscription analytics provider Adapty, and is used solely to grant entitlement, manage renewals, and support customer service.

Third-Party Services
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We use the following third-party services to operate the Application. Each has its own privacy policy and terms of service:
- Apple App Store & In-App Purchase: App distribution and subscription processing on iOS.
- Apple HealthKit: Optional health and fitness data access (with your permission).
- Google Play Services: App distribution and subscription processing on Android. (Terms)
- Google Analytics for Firebase: App performance analytics. (Terms)
- AdMob (if applicable): Advertising. (Terms)
- Supabase: Backend database and authentication infrastructure. (Privacy)
- Adapty: Subscription analytics and entitlement management. (Privacy)
- Optional integrations: Strava, Fitbit, Garmin — user-initiated, only with explicit authorization.
These third-party services may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their policies to understand how they handle your data.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures (such as encryption in transit via TLS, encryption at rest, and access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Account data is deleted upon account deletion request. Subscription and transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for processing
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- (California residents) Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal data.

Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact admin@wesweat.fit and we will promptly delete it.
Account Deletion and Data Removal
How to Request Account Deletion:
- Open the WeSweat app on your device
- Go to Profile Tab → Account → Delete Account
- Confirm your decision to delete your account
- Alternatively, email us at admin@wesweat.fit with the subject "Account Deletion Request"
What Happens When You Delete Your Account:
- Immediately deleted: Your profile, workout history, XP, and other data associated with your account.
- Retained for legal purposes: Transaction records and compliance data (where applicable) for up to 7 years as required by law.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated within the Application where appropriate. Your continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Attempts to extract source code, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted.
